I have been bad at updating photos from my trip.  Over labor day weekend we went all over the island, but our first stop was the USS Arizona Memorial and USS Missouri.  It was a solemn visit, but a thumb-print of history to witness. In addition, the juxtaposition of the place where the war started and the war ended was just unreal. Here are some of the photos:

Wednesday night we ate Mongolian BBQ at the Sunset Lanai on Camp Smith, where we are working each day.  It was a little cloudy and not as clear as it could have been but the views were still spectacular.

Ok here are some pictures from our dinner out at the Yard House.  I think I tasted the best beer of my life – Coconut Stout.  YUMMY!  Here we all are, seemingly like me and 4 big brothers.  By the way,  this evening of dinner was after working for 14 straight hours then driving home in traffic – It is pretty understandable since we ARE on an Island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
